Marine Planner / GIS Analyst position at The Nature Conservancy in Alaska
The Nature Conservancy in Alaska is seeking a highly qualified, motivated individual to join the staff as Marine Conservation Planner / GIS Analyst. The successful candidate will work with the Bering Sea and Arctic programs to develop and update science-based conservation plans for the coastal, estuarine, and continental shelf habitats of the Bering, Chukchi, and Beaufort seas. S/He will work with the Bering Sea and Arctic programs to develop multi-facetted regional and community-based collaborative initiatives with partners. S/He will serve as a primary point of contact for marine planning and will be expected to enhance strategic partnerships within and outside the Conservancy.
