Dear All, I have tissue samples of a stranded beaked whale, thought at this time to be a female Gray's Beaked Whale Mesoplodon grayi from the remains found yesterday. The whale was washed up in the south east of the Falkland Islands. There are pictures and measurements for anyone interested and it would be excellent to pass on the genetic tissue for DNA analysis if possible. Please contact me for further details.
