The third webinar in this 4-part series on underwater sound will take place at 12pm ET on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. During this free, 60-minute webinar, Dr. Jill Lewandowski, Environmental Assessment Division Chief for the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), and other BOEM personnel, will provide a regulatory and recommendation overview with regards to underwater sound and offshore wind development activities. This will include considerations for marine mammals, such as the North Atlantic right whale. The webinar will include a presentation followed by a period of facilitated discussion.
