NOAA Fisheries is extending the public comment period for the Marine Mammal Protection Act Incidental Take Regulations to govern the taking, by harassment, of marine mammals incidental to the construction of the Ocean Wind 1 Offshore Wind Energy Facility offshore of New Jersey. The public comment period, which was originally scheduled to end on November 25, 2022, will be extended an additional 15-days to December 10, 2022. Any comments previously submitted do not need to be submitted again.
