Dear MARMAMers, Abstracts submissions for the Emerging Bioacousticians Days 2025 (Journées des Jeunes Bioacousticien.e.s, JJBA)is now open until April 6th 2025. This conference designed by and for early-career researchers (i.e. Students, both under- and post-graduated, and professionals having graduated in the last five years) will take place from June 23rd to June 26th in Vernon, France. Subjects covered will include, amongst others, biological production and perception of sound, passive acoustic monitoring, signal processing, modelling of acoustic propagation, applications of bioacoustic, acoustic sensor arrays for biological research and impact of anthropogenic noise, on a range of taxonomic groups including but not limited to marine mammals. Registration fees are fixed at €20 and cover food and accommodation.
