Please have a look; any constructive criticism would be appreciated. This catalogue is a summary of a long-term photo-identification study of the bottlenose dolphins of Cardigan Bay, and forms the basis of a readily accessible catalogue that can be used by relevant bodies, groups and individuals to ensure the long-term protection of these magnificent wild creatures that frequent our waters. Combining ecotourism with research helps to ensure the long-term sustainability of this photo-identification project; examples of similar approaches can be found throughout the world. Research funded by the paying public provides an important tool for environmental education and awareness. This approach is being used by the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre and Dolphin Survey Boat Trips to help ensure the long-term future of the bottlenose dolphins of Cardigan Bay. We would like to thank all those who have been involved in putting this catalogue and previous years catalogues together, particular thanks to all our volunteers over the past few years for all their hard work.
