Our research center is involved in North Pacific marine mammal and seabird research, and our Institutional Biosafety Committee is developing guidelines for researchers interacting with live animals and handling tissues from necropsies. Aquatic Organ 81:81; regional marine mammal veterinarians; Northwest Marine Mammal Stranding Network; Washington State Department of Health.)
