The Alaska SeaLife Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to marine research, rehabilitation and public education is seeking applications for the following: Laboratory Technician - Veterinary Services This position is responsible for providing clinical laboratory support to the Center's veterinary staff. Duties: Oversees the day-to-day functioning of the laboratory, quality control program, and providing laboratory results including but not limited to: hematology, serum chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, fecal parasite exams, and water coliform tests. Requirements: One year minimum clinical laboratory experience. Associate's degree in clinical laboratory sciences preferred. Must be able to work weekends and on-call.
