Jonian Dolphin Conservation Expedition – July 2026 Edition
Dear Marmam Community, We are excited to announce a new session of the Jonian Dolphin Conservation (JDC) Expedition, a field-based scientific experience focused on the monitoring and study of cetaceans in the Gulf of Taranto, Northern Ionian Sea (southern Italy). The July 2026 edition will take place from 20–36 July, offering a one-week immersive training program designed for students, early-career researchers, and anyone interested in gaining practical skills in marine mammal science. Participants will work alongside professional researchers with over 15 years of field experience.
