The Australian New Zealand Student Chapter of the Society of Marine Mammalogy is excited to announce the next biannual Student Chapter conference, taking place from 24 to 27 October 2025 at Massey University, Auckland, New Zealand. The conference will host student presentations, a guest speaker symposium and a workshop on cetacean dissection/post-mortem sampling. Networking events and a fieldtrip to the stunning Hauraki Gulf are planned as well, where you can watch feeding Bryde's whales and common dolphins.
