Summary: We report on a brief encounter between bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) and a whale shark (Rhincodon typus) off the Florida Panhandle in the Gulf of Mexico. We also review non-predatory observations of cetaceans with whale sharks worldwide.
