Today, NOAA Fisheries announces a 15-day extension of the comment period on the proposed rule to modify the regulations to remove the restriction that limits the maximum duration for Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) section 104 permits and Letters of Confirmation (LOCs) to a term of five years.
