(Marine Turtle Biology and Assessment Program Lead) Weblink: https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/553483400 Responsibilities As a Supervisory Research Biologist, you will perform the following duties: • Lead a multidisciplinary science program for the management and conservation of the endangered and threatened sea turtles in the Pacific. • Provide program staff with guidance in the identification and implementation of studies to monitor, model, and enhance the status of turtle populations. • Oversee the program’s performances of research in protected species, ecosystem-based science, population assessment, life history, physiology, health and disease, climate impacts, and mortality mitigation. • Participate in field data collection operations including remote camps and research cruises.
