The Sitka Sound Science Center is pleased to announce that the application period for the FY15 Scientist in Residency Fellowships is open through February 15. This year the Fellowships (3) are intended for mid-career scientists studying the arctic or subarctic. The Fellowship is for 1 month of residency in Sitka, Alaska, with housing, travel, per diem, and stipend provided. Fellows will spend one week of their month engaged in community and student outreach and will partake in training specific to communicating science in rural Alaska.
