Hello Marmam subscribers, *ECS Conference workshop open for register* Grampus griseus 200th anniversary: Risso’s dolphins in the contemporary world Time: Afternoon, 25th March, 2012 Site: Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, Galway, Ireland Year 2012 marks the 200th anniversary of the scientific nomination of Risso’s dolphin (Grampus griseus, Cuvier 1812). This is a fantastic chance to celebrate, as well as review our current knowledge about this “poorly known” species. This workshop will be held in honour of this fabulous occasion; researchers and students studying, or interested in Risso's dolphins are all welcome to attend.
