Dear MARMAM Community, My name is William Paterson, Senior Marine Megafauna Specialist at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia, working on behalf of our Client (NEOM) and in collaboration with Edith Cowan University (ECU), Australia. We are reaching out to researchers / experts in their fields to seek advice / suggestions on innovative survey and analysis techniques for boat strike mitigation regarding dugongs. This call-out also seeks to learn from researchers similarly working with other marine mammal taxa. We are seeking to understand the 'state of the art' in innovative mitigation options with potential for collaboration on upcoming funded projects. Our study area is in the northeast Red Sea in NEOM. For more details about the project and this call-out, please see the document in this LINK<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dibuQb4QTljhpSXzSHAtmA5yo8OZLOqA/view?usp=sharing>.
