Aloha MARMAM colleagues, I wanted to share a new course I will be offering at Hawaiʻi Pacific University focused on marine mammal response and conservation in Hawaiʻi. The class will cover topics including marine mammal stranding response, protected species management, field response coordination, and the regulatory framework surrounding marine mammal conservation. The course will run May 11th - July 3rd.
