The four-day conference will be preceded by two days of workshops. The WMMC 2019 will be jointly hosted by the Society for Marine Mammalogy and the European Cetacean Society and organized by SUBMON and the University of Barcelona. We will provide a forum for scientists, conservationists, policy-makers, educators, students and strategic planners in the field from every continent. It will be a unique opportunity to foster international partnerships and collaborations. The WMMC 2019 will also provide an opportunity to visit the beautiful, historic, culturally-diverse, exciting and welcoming city of Barcelona – a city with something to offer for everyone.
