Marine Mammal Internship 2026 – Southern Right Whale Research in Brazil
Dear MARMAM community, Want to work hands-on with southern right whales in the wild? We are now accepting applications for the Marine Mammal Research Exchange, an academic internship program hosted by the GEMARS–Yaqu Pacha Marine Mammal Conservation Hub — a center for collaborative research and capacity building in Latin America. The Hub integrates multiple research and conservation initiatives (including bycatch mitigation, community-based projects, and marine mammal monitoring programs). This specific call focuses on one of its flagship field programs: the long-term study of southern right whales (*Eubalaena australis*) in southern Brazil.
