Hello Marine Mammal Community, Early bird registration for the 24th Biennial Conference on the Biology of Marine Mammals (SMM2021) is rapidly approaching! Early bird rates are valid through March 1, 2022 at 12pm EDT (-5 hours GMT). Everyone registered by this day and time with conference hotel reservations (for those attending in person) will be entered into a drawing for valuable prizes. For those persons registered to attend in person, they will be eligible to win free airfare (valued up to $500 US) and conference hotel stays during the August 1-5, 2022 conference in West Palm Beach, Florida. Those persons registered for virtual attendance at the hybrid conference will be eligible to win free conference registration and SMM membership. Conference hotels are following strict Covid protection protocols for our safety, and all are conveniently located next to and across the street from the conference venue at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Make your hotel reservations early at the conference rate. SMM2021 is in need of Volunteers! Volunteers working a minimum of 12 hours are eligible for $150 reimbursement of your registration fee.
