TERRA AZUL Azores Whale Watching & Wildlife Tours would like to share the following opportunity for students, recent graduates, and other ocean-lovers who would like to get started in the whale watching and wildlife tourism industry:

TERRA AZUL is a relatively small but vibrant ecotourism company based in São Miguel Island (Azores, Portugal), providing tourists unique and unforgettable experiences to discover the world of whales and dolphins.

We are looking for two candidates to join our team on a full-time basis with the following profiles* **:

• Candidate 1: fluent in German, to join our Wildlife Volunteer Programme;

* Fluency in English is mandatory - other languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, are a plus.

** Boat licence (e.g. Marinheiro, Patrão Local, RYA Powerboat Lvl 2) required by law. In case of doubt, feel free to contact us for more information.

For candidate profile 1, TERRA AZUL offers:

• Free housing (private room) at a ~10-minute walk from our office;
• 350 €/month;
• 50% off flight tickets.

The responsibilities include:

• Guiding whale watching and other tours;
• Office duties (data processing, social media & blog updates, bookings & information support, and other team-supporting tasks);
