The Cetacean Research Laboratory at the Vancouver
Aquarium has an opening for a marine mammal research assistant.
The successful candidate will assist with various research activities
including data entry, database management, data analysis, technical writing,
grant writing and grant administration. He or she will also play a
primary role in the operation of the BC Cetacean Sightings Network and assist
with an educational outreach program. Applicants must be qualified to fill
open-ended positions in Canada, which normally means being a Canadian citizen or
