Dear MARMAM,
We are thrilled to announce that the Society for Marine Mammalogy Northeast Student Chapter will be hosting an in-person conference at the University of New Hampshire the weekend of April 22, 2023. The main conference activities will take place Saturday,
April 22, with additional social activities Friday night and a possible necropsy lab tour on Sunday.
Registration is open to all undergraduate students, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and early career scientists. All participants are invited to submit abstracts for a talk, speed talk, or poster. We accept submissions on complete research, on-going
research, literature review, or a topic of interest, so long as it relates to marine mammal science. Additionally, we will have a keynote speaker, round table discussion, networking opportunities, and movie screening. The registration fee is $30 to cover the
cost of breakfast, lunch, and snacks on Saturday. If there are any financial barriers that prevent you from attending, please contact us.
Deadline for abstract submission is April 8 and deadline to register is April 14.
