A new publication has become available that describes a regional strategy for the conservation of the humpback whale in the Southeast Pacific. Contributors include leading scientists of the Fundación Yubarta (Colombia), Fundación Ecuatoriana para el Estudio de Mamíferos Marinos (Ecuador), Instituto de la Patagonia, Universidad de Magallanes (Chile), Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (Panama) and the Peruvian Centre for Cetacean Research, Museo de Delfines (Peru). The publication was published with the support from WWF-Colombia.
