We're happy to announce that registration is available now for the 16th Annual Whale Tales! Every year since 2006, Whale Tales connects marine experts with the public to share the latest knowledge in whale research through a weekend of memorable talks and educational opportunities, while fundraising for whale research. Presented by Whale Trust, a Maui-based whale research and education organization, the 16th Annual Whale Tales virtual event will be broadcast online March 26th and 27th. With more than 30 leading experts sharing their work from around the globe, registered attendees will have access to the two-day live-stream event, an on-demand video learning library, interactive educational experiences, keiki video lessons and learning resources, a marine education expo, and a silent auction to support whale research efforts in Hawaii.

Registration is required and includes access to the online event and content archive for 30+ days after the event, as well as access to our Whale Tales Closing Presentation and Panel Earth Day weekend (Saturday, April 23, 2022). Early-bird registration pricing is available until March 12. While the production costs associated with presenting this event prohibit us from making the event free to everyone, we are committed to ensuring that all who are interested and/or will benefit can access the Whale Tales virtual program.
