The International Conference on
Minimizing Risks for the Environment in Marine Ammunition Removal in
the Baltic and North Sea (MIREMAR)
will be held from
16th to 18th November 2010
in Neumünster, Germany (situated between Hamburg and Kiel).

During the first two days, thirty renowned experts on different
aspects of ammunition removal are going to give presentations on legal aspects
of marine ammunition, the situation in the Baltic and North Sea, mitigation
measures for detonations, survey methods, sediments, ecotoxicology, safe
recovery and destruction of ammunition, chemical warefare, ammunition and
politics etc..
