The deadline for abstract and workshop proposal submissions for SMM2021 is rapidly approaching! The deadline for all submissions is 11:59 PM,
EDT (GMT-4) on April 11, 2021.
While SMM2021 will be the very first hybrid conference of the Society for Marine Mammalogy held on December 13-17, 2021, you DO NOT have
to pay for registration or decide whether you will be participating in-person or virtual at the time of abstract or workshop submission; however, we are asking you to indicate your preference at the time of submission.
Click one of the following links for more information on submitting an abstract or workshop
propsal for SMM2021.
Abstract reviewers play a vital role in supporting the SMM and elevating the quality of science presented at SMM2021; however, other benefits include supporting the research and activities of your area of interest. In order to participate
as an abstract reviewer, we require participants to hold a master’s degree, doctoral degree (or an equivalent certificate program) or have at
least 5 years experience in your field.
If you meet the above stated criteria, please consider signing-up as a reviewer. Deadline for reviewer sign-up is also April 11, 2021 at 11:59 PM, Eastern Daylight Time (GMT -4). The Scientific Program Committee will be in touch with all reviewers
to provide further details after the abstract submission deadline closes.

To submit an abstract, workshop posposal OR sign-up as a reviewer you will need to login to the conference software. In order to access the conference software,
