Postdoc will work with PI
and graduate students on an NSF-funded project to 1) integrate theories from
behavioral ecology with quantitative techniques in demography to examine the
effects of reproductive behavior on extinction risk for California sea lions in
the Gulf of California, and 2) contribute to an empirical research program to
test hypotheses regarding the degree to which the demography of sea lions depends
on reproductive behavior. Requires PhD in ecology and excellent demographic modeling skills. Experience
with molecular approaches in conservation and field skills are also preferred.
