The Alaska SeaLife Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to marine research, rehabilitation, conservation, and public education is seeking applications for the following:

 

 

Laboratory Manager/Technician

 

This position is responsible for providing clinical laboratory management/support to the Center’s staff.     

 

Duties:  Depending on education and experience duties may include oversight and management of the Science Laboratories at the Alaska SeaLife Center up to and including oversight of the day-to-day functioning of the laboratory and staff, budget, grant acquisition, quality control program, and providing laboratory results.


Requirements:  
Degree in a field complementary to the Center’s mission - laboratory sciences preferred.  Minimum of one year clinical laboratory experience, five years experience preferred.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

 

This is a year-round, full-time position with a great benefits package.
