Living Seas Youth Internships 2022
Youth Internships (2 posts available) at the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre (CBMWC)
Salary:
Research Assistant Intern - 35 hours per week,
£17,290 (12 months)
Outreach Assistant Intern - 28 hours per week,
£8,068 (7 months)

Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund through the Climate Action Fund, the
Stand for Nature Wales project is a youth climate change project with a big ambition! The
six Wildlife
Trusts in Wales have come together to tackle climate
change with the help of the young people of Wales. Our teams are working to empower and inspire young people to take action for nature and wildlife in their local area in a bid to tackle climate change. The
Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales’ Living Seas team based at the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre in New Quay are working with young people to protect our seas, take climate action and to inspire others in the local community to make a difference.
As part of the Stand for Nature Wales project, we are offering two paid internships for young people,
beginning on the 4th April 2022. The roles advertised will enable you to work alongside the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales’ Living Seas staff and volunteer team at the
Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre, New Quay to enhance and develop your skills and knowledge in marine conservation.
