The North Atlantic Marine Mammal Commission (NAMMCO), the Norwegian Centre for the Law of the Sea (NCLOS), and the UiT Department of Arctic and Marine Biology are co-organising
the 6th Marine Mammal Student Symposium:
“Navigating Arctic Waters: Strengthening ties between Marine Mammal Research, Indigenous Knowledge & Law and Policy Making”
The symposium will be held in a hybrid format (online and in the Universitetbibliotek Room 132, Troms¸) on April 19, 2024.
This symposium represents an opportunity for students with common interests from various fields in natural, social, and legal sciences to share their ideas, knowledge,
and experiences on topics related to marine mammal conservation and management.
Interested students

and whether they would like to present their projects.
