D'Appolonia Spa (RINA group) is looking for certified Marine Mammal Observer (MMO) / PAM (Passive Acoustic Monitoring) to join D'Appolonia's network.  
Job opportunities will be temporary and related to O&G offshore industry (construction/field survey activities) mainly in the Mediterranean Sea and Black Sea / Red Sea and Gulf of Suez.

Requirements

· Experience working onboard in O&G activities (minimum 6 months offshore operations experience who has knowledge and training of Marine Mammal observation techniques and UK JNCC guidelines and reporting requirements)

· JNCC approved MMO training.

· knowledge about operating passive acoustic monitoring systems

· A minimum of a BSc degree in environmental science, natural resources, marine science, or a related field.

· Offshore survival and medical certification (UKOOA or equivalent); First Aid/CPR trainings is a plus

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

· Self-motivated with attention to detail.

· Preparation of various technical reports.

· Must have the ability to conduct tasks independently
