Dear Colleagues, 

In the United States the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972, has been key to our marine mammal conservation and recovery – truly a success story. Our Congress is currently considering amending this law and members are seeking comments and suggestions. I hope many of you, especially those who are here in the US, will provide comment especially to Congressman Begich of Alaska. The following link provides additional information -
