The University
of Southern Mississippi offers an
opportunity for students to earn four hours of course credit while
participating in a field study of dolphins in the beautiful waters surrounding
the island of Utila,
located off the northern coast of Honduras. Students will learn to
record and analyze marine mammal sounds and behaviors, and will gain first hand
experience in the joys and frustrations associated with field studies of wild
dolphin behavior. The dates of the course are May 17 - June 7, 2008. For
