SMRU Marine are putting out feelers to see if there are any Marine Mammal Surveyors based on Anglesey, Wales that may be available for a trial land-based vantage-point marine mammal survey with a planned start date of  late Feb/start of March 2014.

 

Preferably, we would require surveyors to be living local to Anglesey or to be able relocate temporarily to Anglesey so that they can be mobilised at short notice when a weather window appears.

 

This would initially involve a 3 month trial starting late Feb/early March 2014, surveyors would be required to work approximately 8 days per month, with the possibility that it may extend to a yearlong survey from Summer 2014-2015 if the trial period is successful.
