On 29 Sept. -1 Oct. 2016 the Georgian National Museum, Tbilisi is organizing a symposium on the evolution of marine mammals dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Dr. Guram Mchedlidze (1931–2009), a Georgian paleontologist.
