We're looking for another post doctoral fellow to join our research group at WCS Canada/University of Victoria. The project is to study the distribution and abundance of ringed seals and bowhead whales in the western Canadian Arctic using aerial surveys. The position may also involve working on ringed seal and bearded seal diet data. The post doc would be involved in planning and conducting aerial surveys in spring 2024 and 2025 in the western Canadian Arctic, managing, processing, and analyzing the aerial survey data, statistical analyses, writing manuscripts and reports, meeting with Inuvialuit and government partner organizations, and helping with grant management.
