Fisheries and Oceans Canada is pleased to announce that both the Proposed Recovery Strategy for Sea Otters and the Proposed Recovery Strategy for Transient Killer Whales in Canada have been posted to the Species at Risk Act (SARA) Public Registry for a 60-day public consultation period.  All comments received will be taken into consideration when finalizing both recovery strategies.

      Copies of the documents and comment forms are available for sea otters at http://www.sararegistry.gc.ca/plans/showDocument_e.cfm?id=1373 and transient killer whales at http://www.sararegistry.gc.ca/plans/showDocument_e.cfm?id=1363

      Comments on the both recovery strategies may be submitted via the SARA Public Registry until October 6th, 2007.
