Makah Fisheries Management is looking to hire a Biometrician. The primary tasks of the Biometrician will be salmon related research. However, the Biometrician will at times work with our Marine Mammal Program on marine mammal studies to help conduct statistical analyses and interpret results. As the position matures, the Biometrician will have latitude to pursue grant funding for projects of their interest which may include marine mammal research.

Pertinent details for the position are as follows:
Pay rate: $41.04 to $45.60/DOQ
Work week: 32-hour work week, 8-5 Monday-Thursday. Some weekend or long days will be required for field work
Work Station: Neah Bay, Washington
