Job Opportunity: FWC Manatee Management Program Coordinator (Biological Administrator II A – SES)

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is seeking a Manatee Management Program Coordinator to lead statewide conservation, management, and regulatory efforts for the Florida manatee within the Imperiled Species Management Section.

This Tallahassee-based leadership position supervises a small team, provides strategic direction for the program, coordinates with state and federal partners, and oversees conservation planning, regulatory review, budgets, and contracts. Candidates with experience in manatee conservation, marine wildlife permitting, coastal resource management, and staff supervision are especially encouraged to apply.

Location: Tallahassee, FL
Salary: $2,500 biweekly + State of Florida benefits
