A new and updated version of SOCPROG, SOCPROG2.10 (both compiled and uncompiled downloads) is available at:

SOCPROG is free, although you need to have access to MATLAB to use the uncompiled version).  This version is compatible with MATLAB2023b (although it will likely work well on recent and soon-to-be-released versions of MATLAB). It fixes a few bugs and adds functionality compared to previous versions.

The most significant change is the introduction of temporally constrained association indices. These are particularly useful for long-running studies where some individuals were not present during the early part and/or the later part (because of birth, death, immigration or emigration).  Association indices between two individuals are only calculated during the period when both have been previously identified and identified later, or both are identified.
