NOAA Fisheries is requesting public review and comments on the recently released Draft Recovery Plan for the North Pacific right whale.  The deadline for comments is March 11, 2013 and the website to submit comments is http://www.regulations.gov/#!docketDetail;D=NOAA-NMFS-2013-0003    The Draft Recovery Plan is available online at http://www.nmfs.noaa.gov/pr/recovery/plans.htm

NOAA Fisheries is also requesting public comments on revised 2012 Draft Stock Assessment Reports for 10 stocks in the Atlantic region.  The Draft SARs include revisions to abundance estimates and corrections to some bycatch estimates for the 10 stocks.  The deadline for comments is April 16, 2013 and the website to submit comments is http://www.regulations.gov/#!docketDetail;D=NOAA-NMFS-2012-0119  More information and the revised draft SARs are available online at: http://www.nmfs.noaa.gov/pr/sars/draft.htm
