I wanted to share with you our current job posting for a full time Biological Scientist II, here at the University of Florida Aquatic Animal Health Program.
SUMMARY OF POSITION ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position supports management of the aquatics laboratory facilities and develops various clinical and research field activities, initiatives and research areas within the aquatic animal health program, with a strong emphasis on marine
mammal health and disease. It is a unique position with talent requirements that combine a bio-scientist ability and animal health care technology. The individual is an ambassador for the program with direct contact with many of the program partners and a
valued part of the team. The activities of the bio scientist are in fulfilment of Scopes of Work, tied to an FWC state contract.
