Marine Vertebrate Ecologist

 Moss Landing Marine Laboratories and San Jose State University are seeking a Vertebrate Ecologist with expertise in marine reptiles, birds, or mammals. The successful candidate will assist with proposal writing and on-going research, help with M.S. graduate student projects and assist with advising, provide some lectures for classes, and administer the seminar series. Qualifications include a completed Ph.D., some experience with teaching or assisting graduate students, field research, and knowledge within the subject area. The appointment will be for two years (contingent on funding and adequate performance) at $40,000 per year with benefits, starting 1 September 2013.
