Smultea Sciences will be conducting two National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) & Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) Approved Protected Species Observer (PSO) Certification training courses January 10 and 17, 2022. These, LIVE, online trainings are specific to U.S. Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico geophysical and geotechnical surveys, with an emphasis on offshore wind development. Our trainings are open to US citizens with a valid US Passport and a four-year degree—concentrated in the natural sciences. There is no cost to attend these trainings. However, a fee of $200 will be required in order to receive the physical PSO certificate following successful completion of the training course.
