The Ocean Modeling Forum and the Lenfest Ocean Program are pleased to announce the launch of a new working group to develop scientific tools to assess data sets and methods in order to evaluate the rates and impacts of bycatch on marine mammal populations. The working group co-chairs are Dr. André Punt, me (Dr. Tessa Francis), and Dr. Rob Williams. The working group will meet four times over 2018 and 2019, with its first meeting on May 16 – May 18 in Seattle, WA.
