We received many advices about the blue/fin whale identification, but many people asked for better pictures to make a good choice.

At this step on 23 advices, 18% choosed pygmy blue whale, 60 % fin whale, 4% hybrid, 4% other (sei, bryde...), 14% impossible to choice.

Most reasons for fin choice was white right jaw, for blue whale dorsal placement.

4 people declared themselves as blue whale field specialist (sri lanka and pacific) and 2 were sure for blue whale and 2 for fin whale...

I hope we'll get this time a significative choice, or we'll have to call it the "flue" whale ;-)
