Proposals for up to US$25,000 can be submitted between now and 31 July 2021. Proposals should be focused on projects that can catalyze real conservation action for the world's most endangered marine mammal species.

Proposals will be judged by the SMM Conservation Committee and Committee of Scientific Advisors and awards will be announced at the SMM member's meeting at the Marine Mammal Conference in December.
