Dear MARMAM,
We are pleased to announce that the Northeast Student Chapter of the Society for Marine Mammalogy is active!
We represent undergraduate, graduate, and recently graduated students from the Northeastern United States, including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut,
New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Our mission is to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can support one other in their education and research in marine mammal science. While we
are newly formed, we plan to regularly host virtual and in person meetings.
Please contact us if you are interested in joining us! Our first virtual meeting will be Friday, December 2 at 4pm EST.
