Mark your calendars for a Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) workshop on Atlantic offshore wind activities and marine protected species. 

BOEM's Office of Renewable Energy Programs is hosting a three-day "Best Management Practices Workshop for Atlantic Offshore Wind Facilities" on March 7-9.  The workshop will discuss best management practices for preventing, reducing, and monitoring impacts to marine protected species from the development of offshore wind on the Atlantic Outer Continental Shelf.  
 
The workshop will take place at:

A government rate is available for a block of rooms at the Courtyard Silver Spring Downtown, a 10-15 minute walk to the workshop. Reservations for the hotel must be made no later than February 13.
